Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for CareNotes Premium subscriptions. Which section applies depends on where you purchased your subscription.
1) Purchases Through the Apple App Store
If you subscribed to CareNotes Premium through the App Store on your iPhone, your purchase is billed by Apple and subject to Apple's own refund policies. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, or
- On your iPhone: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or contact Apple Support directly.
CareNotes does not process or control App Store refunds — Apple makes the final decision on these requests.
2) Purchases on the Web (carenotes.ai)
If you subscribed to CareNotes Premium directly through our website, CareNotes L.L.C. is the merchant of record and handles billing and refunds directly. Card payments are securely processed on our behalf by our payment provider, Stripe, Inc.
- Refund window: You may request a full refund within 14 days of a new purchase or renewal charge if you are not satisfied, have not made substantial use of Premium features, or were charged in error.
- How to request: Email info@cnotes.ai with your account email and the receipt/order ID from your emailed Stripe receipt, and we'll process the refund.
- Processing time: Approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3) Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, but you'll keep Premium access through the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period — see Section 2 for the refund window if you'd like a refund instead.
- App Store subscriptions: manage or cancel via Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Web subscriptions: manage or cancel by contacting info@cnotes.ai with your account email.
4) Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after cancelling, contact us at info@cnotes.ai and we will investigate and correct the issue, including issuing a refund where warranted, regardless of the 14-day window above.
5) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last Updated" date when changes are made.
