What is live on Dentrix Ascend
Dentrix Ascend is a named, live Premium integration — not a waitlist. Three things are in production today: schedule sync (today and tomorrow from the PMS), note writeback (finished notes upload from the hand into the linked chart with a confirmation), and direct structured perio upload. Structured perio upload is live on Open Dental and Dentrix Ascend only. Other stacks still get perio inside the note; direct upload for those is in progress.

Today and tomorrow's appointments from Ascend. CareAssist can open a pre-visit summary from prior notes.
Note writeback
Review on the phone, then Ready to Upload. The note lands in the linked chart with a confirmation you can trust.
Structured perio
Pockets, BOP, recession, mobility, furcation — spoken or tapped — upload as structured perio, not only a paragraph.
