What was said
Excerpt. Speech-to-text ran on the phone; this text is all that left the device.
Dentist: We're doing the root canal on the upper left first molar, number fourteen. The test last week showed that nerve isn't responding, and you had lingering cold sensitivity before, so this is irreversible pulpitis. Any change in your medical history? Any antibiotics?
Patient: Nope, same as before. Just trying to get this done before I start the new job Monday.
Dentist: We'll have you out of here. Cold on fourteen. Nothing. Good, you're numb. Dam on.
Dentist: Access through the existing composite. Found MB, DB, and palatal. Looking for a second MB. Not finding one, the orifice looks single.
Dentist: Working lengths off the cusp tips: MB nineteen and a half, DB twenty, palatal twenty-one and a half. Rotary to thirty-five oh-four in all three. Irrigating as we go, then drying.
Dentist: Fill looks good, to length, nothing past the end. Cotton and a temporary filling for now. This tooth needs a crown, we talked about that, let's book it. Expect some soreness on biting for a few days.
